June
June.
Sitting on my couch at home reflecting on the past month of travel. A whirlwind with every week literally being a different adventure, only spending four total nights in my own bed all month (not even full days).
It has been SO good for me. As happy as I am to get home, I needed this break in routine, time off from work and study, challenge, and play. It was just soul-filling. A reset.
This picture was the start of it all a month ago, at a retreat with the Marian Servants of the Blessed Sacrament at their School of Healing Prayer. A beautiful time of learning, fellowship, and healing immersed in the Holy Spirit at Marywood Retreat and Conference Center. From the minute I arrived there it felt like coming home, and this dock especially holds a special place in my heart. I spent some time on it in prayer and preparation before leaving - a perfect beginning to this adventure month! I may or may not have more to say about this as it was a deeply personal and profound experience, we will see.
It's going to take me a couple days to get settled back in to being here at home again, and I am looking forward to many things this month of July: wide open calendar, finishing up some projects and planning for future ones, a new routine, friend visits and reconnecting, being back to work, and just enjoying the summer vibes.
After this last month, I am ready to enter the 2nd half of 2025.
